Q: How do I participate in WCOOM®?
A: Please choose one of the official Mahjong websites and register for a player account. Download and install the Mahjong Client and register for the WCOOM tournaments. Play now (Should link to how to play)
Q: What is a shootout tournament?
A: The tournaments will be played in shootout format. Each tournament is divided in to successive rounds. The top of the two ranked players on each table will progress to the next round while the other players are eliminated from the tournament. As the rounds progress, the number of remaining players and the tables decrease, the final round consisting of the top four players who have made the final table. The winner of the final table in the Main event is the overall mahjong champion.
Q: What do I get if I win one of the Main Events?
A: You will become the World Champion of Online Mahjong. You will also get your part of the money pot plus a VIP trip to Macau (2 nights at hotel and $1000 in travel allowance)
Q: How old do I need to be to participate?
A: To play WCOOM®, you must be 18 years of age or of legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
